Revolve Gallery will be proudly hosting the forth Art, Wine and Cheese Masterclass on a summer afternoon on Sunday 11th March 2012. Guests will be invited to sample Cheeses from Cheesie Tchaikovsky in Clitheroe to accompany the wines selected by The Whalley Wine Shop, Whalley. There will be six wines, and six cheeses. Each being paired to highlight the other. In between each course Sophia will highlight and discuss one of the Northern Artists in the gallery. It is the perfect opportunity for guests to go and peruse the Clitheroe shops and have a leisurely lunch before coming to the gallery for the Art, Wine and Cheese Masterclass. Guests are to arrive at 2:30pm for the reception drinks sponsored by St James Place. It is a formal tasting and it will begin with all 25 sat down at 3pm to enjoy the masterclass. Tom Jones from the Whalley Wine Shop will guide attendees through a selection of wines and Jan from Cheesie Tchaivkovsky will be on hand to guide guests expertly through the Cheeses. Sophia from Revolve Gallery will discuss an artist whilst guests enjoy the gourmet delights. Celebrate with the best of Northern indulgences at Revolve Gallery Revolve Gallery, showcasing the best contemporary Northern artists, is celebrating its first birthday in Clitheroe with a day of indulgence. Sophia Smith of Revolve Gallery said: “Revolve Gallery supports and invests in the talents of Northern artists and, in turn, so do our clients. We would like to say thank you to both our artists and clients for our fabulous first year in Clitheroe. What better way than five wonderful hours of Northern indulgence in the gallery.” On Saturday 20th August from 11am – 4pm artists will be in the gallery all day to be questioned by budding professional artists or fans of their work. There will also be other local delights in the gallery all day, with regionally sourced nibble food, wine and soft drinks available. Sophia added: “We've made half the gallery a wall of scenes of Lancashire to celebrate the beauty of our county. We love to indulge and the more the merrier.” Revolve Gallery is open from 10:30am until 5:30pm, Tuesday to Saturday. The art work sale allowed attendees the chance to sample a selection of fine wines courtesy of Bibendium Wines Ltd as well as providing an opportunity to meet the artists behind the works. Guests were invited to take advantage of the 'learn how to play' tables that G Casino set up for guests wishing to learn how to play Roulette and/or Blackjack. It was the perfect opportunity for guests to go and peruse the Manchester shops and have a leisurely lunch before coming to the gallery for the masterclass. Mark Dent from Hanging Ditch guided attendees through a selection of wines. Mark as an expert in his field enhanced attendees appreciation of wine no matter at what level of expertise they already had. All of the wines were available to sample too and at the last event guests enjoyed more than a bottle of wine each! Tickets were £10 and there were limited number of tickets for this event .
