Advice for first time buyers
It can be daunting entering a gallery for a first time, and declaring “I don’t know anything about art.” Well, we do. And we are fans and this enthusiasm shows through when we meet to discuss your interests. Buy what feels right and do not overspend initially, because your tastes may change over time. Trust us, because the paintings and sculptures in the gallery are there because they have merit. We do not know your individual taste and so our selections may not be suitable for you. There are other independent galleries, so look at them and get a ‘feel’ for those that best suit your needs. The best advice is the simplest three questions:
1. Do I love it?
2. Do I want to own it?
3. Does it fit my budget?
Remember with us you can always pay by installments, or put down a deposit to secure a painting.
We also have an approval service
Many galleries offer this too. You have 14 days before making a decision if you would like to keep a painting. We can deliver to your door, hang the work if necessary or you can simply take the painting(s) from the gallery. We are flexible, just talk to us.
